Agreement to Receive SMS Messages

By providing your mobile phone number and opting in to receive text messages from Hightrac LLC, you expressly consent to receive recurring automated SMS/MMS messages from us at the mobile number you provided. These terms govern all text message communications between you and Hightrac LLC.

Important Notice

CONSENT TO RECEIVE TEXT MESSAGES IS NOT A CONDITION OF PURCHASE. You are not required to opt in to SMS communications to participate in our auctions, register as a bidder, consign equipment, or use any of our services. Opting out of SMS will not affect your ability to do business with Hightrac LLC.

Types of Messages You May Receive

If you opt in to receive SMS messages, you may receive the following types of communications:

Transactional Messages

  • Auction registration confirmations
  • Bidding notifications and outbid alerts
  • Winning bid confirmations
  • Payment reminders and confirmations
  • Equipment pickup and removal notifications
  • Account and security alerts

Marketing Messages (with separate consent)

  • Upcoming auction announcements
  • Featured equipment notifications
  • Special promotions and offers
  • New consignment opportunities

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your auction activity and communication preferences. Transactional messages are sent as needed based on your interactions with our services. Marketing messages, if you have opted in, are typically sent no more than 4-8 times per month. During active auction periods, you may receive more frequent messages related to bidding activity.

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Standard messaging rates from your wireless carrier apply to all SMS/MMS messages. Hightrac LLC does not charge for sending or receiving text messages, but your carrier may charge you based on your plan. Check with your mobile carrier for details about your messaging plan.

How to Opt Out (STOP)

You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by using any of the following methods:

  • Text STOP: Reply STOP to any message you receive from us
  • Text UNSUBSCRIBE: Reply UNSUBSCRIBE to any message
  • Text CANCEL: Reply CANCEL to any message
  • Text QUIT: Reply QUIT to any message
  • Email us: Send a request to info@hightrac.com
  • Call us: Contact us at 731-256-2703

After you opt out, you will receive a one-time confirmation message confirming your unsubscription. You will no longer receive SMS messages from us unless you opt in again. Please note that opting out of marketing messages does not automatically opt you out of transactional messages related to your auction activity, and vice versa.

Supported Carriers

Our SMS program is supported by major U.S. wireless carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and most regional and prepaid carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission from your wireless carrier.

Privacy and Data Use

Your mobile phone number and related data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We will not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number with third parties for their marketing purposes.

Information collected through our SMS program may include your phone number, opt-in status, message history, and related metadata. This information is used solely to provide the SMS services you requested and to improve our communications.

TCPA Compliance

Hightrac LLC complies with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and related regulations. We obtain express written consent before sending marketing text messages. We honor all opt-out requests promptly. We maintain records of consent and opt-out requests. We do not send text messages to numbers on the National Do Not Call Registry without prior express consent.

Changes to SMS Terms

We may modify these SMS Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website. Continued participation in our SMS program after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified terms. Material changes may be communicated via text message to active subscribers.
